How it works :
The Electronic Kiosk Machines are kept in
different locations and configured to communicate with the
Remote Management Enterprise Manager.
The Electronic Kiosk Machine Machines are equipped with GSM
Modems that is the basic mode of communication.
The Electronic Kiosk Machine would send regular or urgent
Messages to the Remote Management Enterprise Manager. The
Regular Messages would update the Remote Management Enterprise
Manager with all the statistics for the Electronic Kiosk
Machine. The Urgent Messages would be in cases of error like
Bill Acceptor Fault, Printing Errors like Paper Out, Paper Jam
etc, Door Open, Program Error etc.
The Remote Management Enterprise Manager would receive the
Urgent Messages, and appropriate action would be taken based
upon the error condition. If the Error could be corrected, the
Remote Monitoring System will try to take a corrective action,
and if not then it would inform the Machine In charge,
supervisor and technician via notification Alarms.
All the Activities are logged to respective files and databases,
and so all kinds of Statistics can be obtained at any given
time.

The client Application is a two Screen Program
which has a very user friendly Interface. The Application has
Images to display the status of the Screen. Inputs are received
from the User via Touch screen or Buttons Connected to Interface
to the Application. The Program greets the user with a Main Menu
that allows the user to select the Type of Card to be purchased.
Depending on the Choice of the Card to be purchased, a Card
Purchase Screen is flashed up. The Card Purchase Screen allows
the User to Enter the Money through the Money Slot and to choose
the Card for the Correct Denomination. Upon the choice of Card
and the Balance Money in the Slot, a card slip is printed via
the printer slot and is dispensed to the user. If the User does
not enter the denomination choice in time, a timeout occurs and
a refund slip is printed for the amount present in the balance
slot. |
